REVIEW – If you enjoyed the first installment, it is nearly certain that you will enjoy the second installment even more.

Starting from where the previous film left off, you’ll have a better grasp of the family’s problems and how they have been impacting them in the subsequent film. The characters are further developed and full of personality and style. There are several terrifying and compelling story aspects, as well as many unexpected twists and turns, noteworthy revelations, shocks, as well as an immense amount of tension and terror throughout the course of the film. Even though some of the situations appear to be inexplicable at first glimpse, they are clearly and effectively explained later on in the movie.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to watch the Insidious Anthology: The Complete Blu-Ray Horror Collection. It was amazing because it brought back all of my memories from the first time I saw the original film. Viewing the first installment a second time was just as entertaining as seeing it the first time! The first INSIDIOUS film, as well as the second, are two of my favorite films of all time.

If you didn’t care for the first, it’s likely that you won’t care for the second either. In terms of content, there’s nothing revolutionary or really innovative about the film. It’s simply a well-told creepy, terrifying haunted house story with a satisfying conclusion, that’s all there is to it. If you are a fan of horror films, this is a film that you really must see.
