REVIEW – AltRock trio AMERICAN AMNESIA make their debut with …Yet Here We Are. The album features 11 new original tracks.

The album features great tracks like  the rocking “Carillon,” talking about how the world is away, delving into the inner battles of life, but they are still here. Another song, “Questions in the Dark,” starts off on a slower note facing dealing with battles of the mind. The album returns to the crushing rock sound in its third song, “Stars of Orion.” “All of the Ashes” is a stand out slow paced song that showcases the singer’s depth of voice making him wonder what he is fighting for. Everyone and everything around him are gone. “The Candle” is faster paced gem that makes the listener dance around with the bouncy rock sound.

AMERICAN AMNESIA hails from Torrington and Winsted, CT featuring Patrick Nemaizer on vocals and guitar, Sam Cesnak on drums, and Gus Pac on bass. The band specializes in a heavy, eclectic, hard rock modern sound. Having formed in 2016, the band jammed together and found a love for playing their music. The band worked a full year on their debut album and it was worth the wait. For fans of Alice In Chains, The Killers, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Rush. this band is worth a listen to. If one is looking for something completely new, this album is a great debut.
