BAD WOLVES the American heavy metal supergroup consisting of vocalist Tommy Vext (ex-DIVINE HERESY, ex-SNOT), drummer John Boecklin (ex-DEVILDRIVER), lead guitarist Doc Coyle (ex-GOD FORBID), rhythm guitarist Chris Cain (ex-BURY YOUR DEAD, ex-FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS) and bassist Kyle Konkiel (ex-IN THIS MOMENT) pulled into the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas Tuesday night supporting the HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD on their ‘American Tour 2018’. Unfortunately, the BAD WOLVES are mainly known for their recent cover of the CRANBERRIES “Zombie.” There is so much more to this band than one cover song and fans should definitely dig a little deeper here. BAD WOLVES has a very distinct sound but, appear to be heavily influenced by bands such as KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. The BAD WOLVES put 100% percent into each show leaving nothing on the table with each member of the band expelling tons of energy. Vocalist, Tommy Vext, teased the crowd on multiple occasions with the “Zombie” cover everyone was waiting for. It wasn’t until the last song they pulled it out and everyone sang along, almost louder than the band. The BAD WOLVES cover of “Zombie” is much heavier live than I expected. BAD WOLVES are definitely a band that knows how to engage a crowd! The BAD WOLVES brought the energy to the House of Blues in Dallas!
